Mince Pie with Vegan Tart Shell

Vegan Tart shell

Ingredients:

  • 500g YesYouCan Plain Flour 
  • 75g Brown Sugar
  • 175g Butter/Vegan Butter
  • 100g Hazelnut Butter 
  • Sugar 75g
  • Maple Syrup 25ml
  • 62.5ml Water
  • 2g Salt 

Directions:

  1. Bring all dry ingredients and butter to a sandy texture. Add water and form a dough.
  2. Line tart shells using the dough.
  3. Bake at 180 °C with Fan for 8 mins with weight and extra 4 mins removing the weight.
  4. If baking with mince filling- bake at 180 °C with Fan for 15-20 mins until tart is golden brown
  5. Let it cool on the tray for 15 mins before moving them to a cooling rack.
