Gluten Free Easter Egg Cupcake Recipe

 

 Gluten Free Easter Egg Cupcake Recipe with YesYouCan Vanilla Cupcake Mix [How to Bake]

We found the Easter egg! Make this adorable Easter-themed cupcakes baked inside an actual egg. Don't worry the egg shells will be inside the oven so no chance for salmonella. It's a fun family activity to do with the kids.

INGREDIENTS

  • YesYouCan Vanilla Cupcake Mix

  • 160ml water

  • 4 tablespoons margarine

  • 2 eggs

  • punched out egg shells for mould

  • decorations of your choice

  • icing

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 160C (fan forced) or 180C (conventional)

  2. Punch out a small hole on 2 eggs to get the contents out. Set aside egg contents in a bowl.

  3. Repeat step 1 for 4 other eggs and set aside for other use.

  4. Combine water, margarine, 2 eggs, and YesYouCan Vanilla Cupcake Mix in a bowl.

  5. Pour cake batter in 6 cupcake patty cases

  6. Pour remaining batter in a piping bag

  7. Pipe the cake batter inside the egg shells

  8. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes

  9. Peel egg shells and set aside egg-shaped cake

  10. Decorate cupcake and place egg-shaped cake on top

  11. Serve and enjoy
