Waffles using Pancake Mix

Ingredients:

  • YesYouCan Buttermilk Pancake Mix
  • ½ cup water (half of the recommended amount for pancakes)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (optional for extra crispiness)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the batter: In a mixing bowl, combine the pancake mix and water. Stir until smooth. The batter will be thicker than the pancake consistency, which is perfect for waffles.

  2. Preheat the waffle iron: Turn on your waffle iron and let it heat up according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  3. Cook the waffles: Pour the thick batter into the preheated waffle iron, making sure to spread it evenly. Cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes depending on your waffle iron.

  4. Serve and enjoy: Once done, remove the waffles and serve with your favorite toppings like fresh berries, syrup, or whipped cream!
