Street-Style Grilled Chicken Kathi Roll Recipe

Ingredients used

  • YesYouCan Plain Flour 150gm
  • Chicken thighs 100gm
  • Yeast 2gm
  • Lava Salt a pinch
  • Sugar 2gm
  • Oil 30ml
  • Onions 1
  • Tomato 1
  • Fresh Coriander for garnish
  • Ginger Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder 2gm
  • Turmeric powder 2gm
  • Coriander powder 2gm
  • Garam Masala 2gm
  • Butter 50gm

Procedure

  1. Marinating of chicken
  • Marinade the chicken with 15ml oil, ginger galic paste, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and turmeric powder and rest it in refrigerator for 2-4 hours.
  1. For the dough
  • In a bowl, add flour, sugar, yeast, 100ml water, oil and kneed for a while.
  • When it starts to stick, add some salt.
  • Kneed the dough until it is in proper shape.
  • Let it rest for a while.
  1. Serving
  • Sear the chicken on pan with some oil and then roast it in the oven at 170C for 10-15 mins.
  • Let it rest for a while.
  • Slice the onions and tomatoes.
  • Flatten the dough using a rolling pin in the shape of a flat bread.
  • Cook it in a pan with some butter.
  • Slice the chicken and prepare the wrap by filling chicken, onions, tomatoes and fresh coriander.
  • Roll it and serve hot with Mint Chutney on side.
